TREACY DOES ALL THE HARD WORK TO WIN M E CROWE BUILDING TITLE
Castlehume produced yet another headline act this week as 17 Handicapper Tristan Treacy recorded a winning score of 43 points to claim the ME Crowe sponsored Competition. With the 43 point winning total being matched by current hot player William Silcock and rising Star Mark McConkey it took a combination of 5 Pars, 4 Birdies and solid bogey Golf to take Tristan to the top spot on count back. A welcome return for Dermot Burns saw him collect the Gross Prize with a score of 30 points. Congratulations to all our winners this week on what has been a wonderful week of high class Golf at Castlehume.
In Team News updates, the Conway Cup Final Team hosted Aughnacloy in their final match second leg at Castlehume. With the home team facing a deficit from the first leg, the visitors proved too steady as they maintained their advantage to get over the winning line. The O'Hare Cup final team have come away from Strabane with 4 points so they have it all to do in the home leg which will be held at Castlehume on Tuesday 4th September. All members welcome to support the Team. Details of Tee off time from the Pro Shop.
On Monday 27th, Captain Bobby Beacom and Lady Captain Rosaleen Treacy held their RNLI Charity Day at Castlehume. A great turnout of members and visitors took to the fairways to support this wonderful Charity. A very big thank you from both Captains to all those players who came out to play and to the RNLI for providing such a wonderful service to all in Northern Ireland.
With the Summer season coming to an end , this weeks Competition is very kindly sponsored by Mr Peter Croft. Tee Off times are available from the Pro Shop at Castlehume.
